Battery light when accelerating? (Battery OK / Alternator replaced)

Hi all,

odd one - battery light just came on when driving yesterday, it goes on generally when I press the accelelator or come to a stop, and comes off when decelerating?

I just replaced the alternator recently when troubleshooting a hot start issue that turned out to be the fusebox, and the battery is 1.5 yrs old & test ok by supercheapauto on their battery tester.

I think it could be slipping belts as the local mechanic had great issues putting the belts on when replacing the alternator, thoughts though before I take the car back to them?
