Hi guys, and especially those in WA, not knowing Perth but being over here for a week I went for a walk from the place I am staying at in Palmerstone st this morning and stumbled over Frank Cecchele Motors. Now I knew many years ago he bought and ran the ex Foley GTAM, which eventually Vin Sharp managed to buy and restore. What I was amazed though was that in the shop front were the cars sitting there. They included a black Fiat Dino 2400, a white Fiat 130 coupe, a vintage Fiat, a X1/9 and a silver CC 124 sport. There was also a red Lancia Delt Integrale and a Lancia sedan (not sure which model).

All the cars were covered in a layer of dust, and the shop windows were dusty/dirty.  Does anyone know the story. I always loved and hoped one day I could get a Fiat Dino coupe. Sadly though they have increased in price out of my range.

Was a landmark for years, and yeah I remember staring through the windows plenty of times too. Pretty sure the workshop has been closed for a few years now. I think the family is still involved in racing.
Now:    2002 156 GTA
            1981 GTV
Before: 1999 156 V6 Q-auto
            2001 156 V6 (sadly cremated)

Cheers it looked like they just left, closed the door and walked away. Wonder what the story is with all the cars there. Would be wonderful to liberate the Dino.

I bought an exhaust from them a couple of years ago and the store looked like it had been deserted then too. I suspect they are still in business but you may need to make a time to see him.
