Alfa Servicing Brisbane (On the spot Alfa)

Would just like to members know I have had a pleasurable experience on work done on my Alfa 156 GTA.   I left my car in the hands of Bazz Bazz on the forum or Barry from On The Spot Alfa . Work consisted initially to change all the belts. Barry on further inspection found out a lot of other things wrong with the car.  Why I was so impressed with Barry was his communication with me and he always asked my permission and gave me costs as he went along before carrying out any extra work. Not only that he did a lot of stuff for free and after I received the final bill I was ecstatic.    Basically the labour was less than half of what I got quoted from an Alfa dealer.  Please note I have no affiliation with on the spot Alfa at all and gave Barry a go as he was very helpful on the forum about other issues I had. I am from North of the Sunshine Coast so I had to travel to find a specialist.    Anyway if your stuck with your Alfa and worried about costs give Barry a go I think you will walk away as happy as I was .  Goes to show that owning Alfa is that bad after all.

Good to see this. I had my 159 serviced at Euromarque (the "old" Brisbane Alfa Romeo) since new, but was left in the lurch after they surrendered the dealership. I was referred to Westpoint Autos at Indooroopilly for servicing. A basic service was carried out but no check of the selespeed as they did not have software to run this. Euromarque then suggested I go to CL Bodyworks at Bowen Hills who then completed a full service, including many items that had been neglected previously. They concentrate on Alfa Romeo and are a pleasure to deal with though rather expensive, However, the outcome I think is worth it.

On behalf of ALL the Alfa specialists in Brisbane we apologise for the trouble you had in finding a suitable service centre in Brisbane.

There is somewhat of an upheaval at the moment with Alfas restructuring, if anyone is ever in need of service or repairs and can not find anyone suitable please feel free to contact me, and if I am not available/able to solve your issues I can certainly put you in touch with the right people who can.

And yes, Chris and his team do very good work, but I am much prettier.

Thanks bazzbazz - as I'm at St Lucia, Bowen Hills is not too far to go and great to know there's a good choice of Alfa specialists in Brisbane.[emoji106]
