Front lower wishbone suspension felt washers

Hi,
I have a felt washer that is disintegrating adjacent the bush in the lower wishbone (A arm) front suspension on a 105  73 spider . The bush is OK, and the felt washer I assume is used to seal the bush. Rather than buy a bush kit and strip down the suspension is there a way of replacing the felt washer? or using another material and fixing this?  thanks
