Alfa Romeo Giulia 105 Showcase
Sunday January 28th 2018
Xavier College, Chapel Oval, Barkers Rd, Kew. 9.30am until 2.30pm

Alfa Romeo owners and fans of the iconic Italian marque are invited to attend the club's annual Spettacolo event at Xavier College, Kew. With its close to perfect manicured surface on the Chapel oval, it's the ideal venue for a display of classic Italian cars. More than 350 Alfa Romeo vehicles and other Italian car club marques are expected on the day.  Alfa Romeo owners of all models are invited to display their vehicles and to be part of the largest all-Alfa Romeo display in the southern hemisphere.

Show & Shine
A feature of the Spettacolo is the Show & Shine event which accommodates 20 competition categories for owners displaying their vehicles on the day who wish to enter.

Food & Family
There will be plenty of delicious food and refreshments available on the day with some eating and shade tents also be provided for your convenience.  However, you are welcome to bring your own chairs and a picnic table.  Children's amusement rides, face painting and ballooning activities will be available.  Alfa Romeo club merchandise, trade stands and displays by the event's supporters; Zagame Automotive, Brighton Alfa Romeo and Tiamo Restaurant.

Alfa Romeo Giulia 105 Showcase
This year's Spettacolo will feature an Alfa Romeo Giulia 105 Showcase, celebrating over 5 decades of the Alfa Romeo Giulia to include the recently released 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia.


Entry Invitation 2017

Planning for the 2018 Tiamo Spettacolo Concorso is underway with acceptance and judging of Concorso entries on Saturday 27th with the presentation of trophies during Spettacolo on Sunday 28th January

This will provide a better experience for entrants, judges and the Concorso itself which is a premium part of AROCA Vic's major annual Spettacolo event.

Entry Acceptance & Pre-Judging

Entry acceptance and pre-judging of Concorso entries will be at 10am on Saturday 27th January at Brighton Alfa Romeo's new Service Centre, Cnr Keys Road & Herald Streets, Cheltenham.

Final Judging

Final judging will take place during Sunday's 2018 Spettacolo at Xavier College Melbourne:

All club members owning any Alfa Romeo over 25 years of age which has been restored, or is in showroom condition, are invited to enter their car/s in the 2018 Spettacolo Concours, sponsored by Tiamo Coffee Restaurant.

Concours trophies will be presented during Sunday's Spettacolo.

Entrants not available on either day can nominate another club member to represent them and be present with the entered car on the day.

Concours entry $60.00 per car.

This is great news!  Australia day long weekend - perfect Alfa Romeo display dates.

John Hanslow has done an unbelievable amount of work to re-schedule Spettacolo 2017.  In effect Spettacolo 2017 has been re-scheduled and relocated to Xavier College..........lock stock and barrel!  Chapel Oval is the perfect location.  Concorso judging the day prior at Brighton Alfa Romeo.

Spettacolo is definitely back on again.  Congratulations John!

Would like to thank the club for once again putting on a great show! It was a very good turnout despite the heat with plenty of fantastic cars on display.

Also congrats to the show and shine winners, there were definitely some shiny cars on display!

Great photos Neil.  My camera would have died in the heat!

We had 250+ cars for the day.  An amazing effort by all concerned given the challenging conditions.  We did ourselves proud!

John Hanslow and I had a swim in the pool at Xavier after all had left.  Best $5.30 I ever spent!

My quirky highlight of the day was the Subaru driver who turned up at the gate requesting where he should put his car on the field!

I can say a very polite direction to an obscure visitors car-park was provided and an invitation to come and see some real classics was volunteered...

We turned up at 12:45.  The heat must have melted most of the cars in to the grass.  LOL
