It looks like something you'd find in the Indycar that's behind it in the pic, surely a V8 single turbo ;) and yes that is a 24v mega beast v6 ;D
Now-  '99 156 2.5l V6 (rosso)
         '88 75 3.0l V6 (grigio)
Then- '81 Giulietta 2.0l transplant (ol whitey)
'82 Giulietta 2.0l transplant (ol brownie)
'82 Giulietta 2.0l TS transplant (ol red)

I'm coming to your place for Christmas if you're getting one of them.

You'd assume that was the engine from the 155DTM car since it's sitting right in front of it, but it must be an early engine because I thought the later ones were a 90 degree V, but that doesn't look it.  I'm sure Scott will be along soon to put me right.  These ones produced 'only' 450bhp from their 2.5 capacity, but the later one had 490 from the same size.  Almost 200bhp per litre!!

I wouldn't worry about getting an engine though, buy a whole car, that'll show Jim Neilsen what's what.  There's 5 for sale here:-
