Rear window winder mechaniam

[As the day goes]

I could hear the cable snap and now the rear window Isa in the down position.   Are these things easy to replace or take ot to an Alfa mechanic?  What should I expect to pay?

Frequently it's just the plastic clip which fails.

BTW from experience if buying from the Turks (Okzam) I would buy from their UK subsidiary whether just the clip or the whole reg as Bonno has linked. Never had to chase a late or missing package, this doesn't compare well with my experiences using the German (main) branch.

Ended having it done by a club sponser.  Looked at the procedures to have it fixed and I thought yeah nuh. Anyway needed it done before we go on an Alpine drive in a few weeks time.

2 hours work for them. Probably a day for me if I could be bothered.
