OK, so this is an Alfa forum and these photo's are of Porsche's (again) but this is kind of special.  Yesterday Patrick Long and Howie Idelson ran the latest in their "Luftgekuhlt" events, in a Torrence timber yard of all places!  It kind of worked, and while I'm not a great fan of pure look and see events like this (cars are meant to be driven in my world) this was huge and of special interest to me was this great collection of 934's and 935's.  Including the last 934 built and the 1977 Le Mans GT class winner.  To which my only comment is, why else would you need a golf umbrella in SoCal?

Very very nice.
I often wonder what could have become of the 105 or Alfetta chassis if they had been 911-evolved.
I love porsches and maybe one day...

For sure, the 116 chassis was never developed to it's potential.  What the SZ achieved with relatively modest changes is proof of that.
In the US Porsches are much more affordable, you see a lot on the road of all types.

I would so love an air-cooled 911 - can't believe how expensive they are now. An ex-brother in law had a red SC Targa with the whaletail around 1980. He turned out to be a complete dick, but 12yo me sure loved that car. What a noise it made.

I'd settle for a late 70s spoilerless SC if anyone wants to give one away... Even happy to take chocolate brown (though that would be my colour of choice for a 928S)
