colombo and bariana cams setup

Im not saying this is perfect but it certainly is alot better than the forums talk about
when i set up the cb11mm cams others have said that they cant drive them under 3000rpm
and its ok but not great well i beg to differ mine cruises@ 1800rpm but comes on at 2500rpm
well i have to say after 5 dyno sessions im very close but I am entertaining feedback from others in particular
those that have used them and possibly raced them
the setup that i have settled on
gives me almost 28hp more than the euro cams @ 6100rpm
even though peak power was 88hp at 5400rpm for the 10548 cams
and 104rwhp for the cb cam at 5800-6100rpm interesting the power peak was almost a flat curve at 5500rpm til 6100rpm( so you can change gears and still have full power between 4th and 5th)
now i know thats only 16hp difference but at redline its almost 28hp difference and this is where it counts
this is the real difference
I have not touched the engine only jettings and cams
i will share the jetting ,again input please 60 idle f8 emulsifier 162 main 200 air corrector  34mm chokes n( 40mm dellortos not 45s)
which gives me around 13:1 a/f ratio and 12.5 @ 6200 plus
So all in all originally the car had 74hp when i purchased it with aussie cams NOW im over 100rwhp which was the target
with a smooth 900rpm idle thats a 30hp gain on the original! almost 40% increase
SO is C&B cam good? hell yeh! there might be better ones out there but this I know works
this might save someone alot of money

This cam is closer to what Alfa should have used on the 2.0 engine.

Now set the lobe centres on 105 degrees. This will give slightly less top end power, but better flexibility and torque. There is a special Alfa tool to do this without using a degree wheel...

The Alfetta marks are around 100 degree lobe centres (too much overlap).
