Refinishing Personal steering wheels

Hi all, can anyone recommend the best stain and finish for the Personal steering wheels?
Mine has had all the lacquer removed and a light sand, and is now ready for stain and lacquer.
Has anybody a recommendation?

The best?

Stain with either Proof-Tint or Fade Resisting Stain, finish with International Coatings' "Perfection" two part clear, sprayed on.

However unless you can cadge a small quantity of the clear system it may cost you more than a new steering wheel to refurbish.
