Please tell me the price is a typo and that you are not asking seventeen and a half thousand dollars for a 164 !  :o

Branko,

Thank you for your reply.

Not neccasarily a typo. However, if you are interested in the car...or you know of someone who may be interested, the price is "negotiable" . You may find... the seller may sell the 164Q for less than the advertised price. Having said that, the car is in exceptional condition and Avanti Spares in QLD could provide a complete pre-purchase inspection report.

Thank you for your interest Branko.

PS. I enjoyed the read about your step nose, my favourite Alfa, in the latest Cross & Serpent (I also like Duettos very much). I currently own a 65 GT Sprint. (However, I wont be racing it)

It IS a Q - fairly hard to come by and in very good nick.  Jim Gordon sold one a couple of years ago wonder what he got for it?  I think they look great much nicer than the standard 164.

Being conditioned by ever plunging prices of second hand Alfas I find it hard to belive that 164 could fetch that price.
I meant no insult by that. You do have right to ask and expect wahtever you desire. It is your car in the end!

I will bite though, what is special about 164Q model. Is that a special "go fast" model?  ;D

I have to admin that I do not mind the looks of 164 but the FWD was always a bit of a turn-off.
