FOR SALE - GTV6 GTV Alfetta DASH good condition.

This intermediate dash only ever appeared on UK delivered cars. It was never used in other RHD markets.

When the GTV6 came out the new dash was only intended for the LHD cars. Alfa GB had copped so much flak for the split dash design ever since the GT had come out that they commissioned this unique design and fitted it to a small batch of cars in the UK during the pre-delivery processing. Alfa got the message and quickly released the straight dash on all RHD cars.

If not for that action by Alfa GB it's quite likely all RHD cars would have retained the split dash thought their life?

Translation:
British and Australian versions of 1981 have a provision instrumentation identical to the Alfetta GT. In 1982, they receive an intermediate configuration: small dials are found between the tachometer - which therefore is no longer in front of the driver's eyes - and the speedometer. In 1983, the GTV6 RHD finally adopt the dashboard LHD.

I suppose they built this dashboard in RHD-cars only in 1982.
