Quad cam 3.0 engine for rear drive GTV6 / 75

Hi All,

Can't put off selling this thing for ever...

Up for sale is my delightful quad cam 3.0 engine out of my old GTV6, sadly destroyed by a twit in a van. 

Details:
3.0 quad cam 24 valve
Originally front drive engine, adapted to fit a GTV6 rear drive
Internally standard, comes with Beninca's headers, pretty much complete exhaust as I recall.
Autronic injection computer
Carefully cleaned up inlet system

Pretty much everything you need to drop it into your rear drive GTV6 (or 75 I suspect)
Works very well as a road engine, and pulls great once the revs hit about 4,000

Engine was set up by Beninca's, who are expert with the Autronic injection
Peak power at rear wheels was 233hp, at 7300. 
(Compared to a typical 2.5L v6, which probably gets 125, maybe 130hp at the rear wheels)

Essentially the same as the engine in Victor Lee's yellow car (although this one gets a little more power - I think Victor's was about 227 on Beninca's dyno)

Yeah, yeah,  but now that you've told everyone, out of the 4 quad cam engines in Alfetta GTV's in Victoria, (that we know about);  mine and Scotty Farquharson's white GTV6 were similar horsepower, Dave's was next and then the big banger is Allan Goodall's with over 250 (or was it 260?) horsies at the rear wheels.

Yeah, Alans was about 255 as I recall.    But a lot of modifications were required to get about 25-30hp.

That is what is so great about these engines - let them breath, and they generate great horsepower with stock internals, and so remain lovely road engines.

Engine is provisionally sold.
