Don't know the car, don't know the owner,

but this seems like a quick buy if someone wants to buy a car in concours condition for this Sunday.

Not a bad buy. I'd have it.
Sorry to be picky John but the GTV was never a 3.2, only a 3.0.  the 156 GTA was the first 3.2 followed by 147 GTA, the 156 GT etc.

I am pretty sure (and stand to be corrected) that the later model Spider had a 3.2 (pre the hot Brera Spider version).

The 3.2 came out in 2003, alongside the JTS four-pot, as part of the 'phase three' facelift.  Well they did in other countries, not 100% sure about Oz.

Yes we did get the 3.2 in Aus, in 2004 in both Spider and GTV, it used the 176Kw version whereas the GTAs (147,156) had 184Kw. It also had the new nose and the 2 litre copped the JTS donk. In the Alfa Australia press release the GTV 3.2 was cliamed to be the fastest ever production alfa in top speed - 255 km/h. The car advertised on carsales is a 3litre (98 Model 5 speed), 6 speed came in mid 99 as part of a minor facelift.

Yes Pep that struck a memory cord, the reason it was a lower power engine in the GTV/Spider had to do with the cramped engine bay ... I think the manifold was different.

Well done. Yes it is a 3.0lt and was thinking about the later model GTV that was noted as the fastest production Alfa available here.

Anyone with some lazy money as indeed it appears well looked after and it has a few good accessories ?
