2008 gt key code

Hi,hoping someone can steer me in the direction of a sympathetic Alfa dealership...I have misplaced the key to my beautiful 2008 gt...I think i have to contact a dealer to get the code, and then get it to a locksmith to cut from the code? Does anyone have any idea how to go about getting a key cut without selling a kidney?
any help would be greatly appreciated
