'92 164 For Sale in Sale! **SOLD!**

All,

Job change/relocation/lifestyle change means it's time to sell my 164.  I simply don't have the time to fiddle with cars any longer.  Needs to go soon so make an offer, any offer....you won't offend me ;)

It's an absolutely beautiful car with just under 186,000kms.  Currently registered but no RWC supplied (had last RWC 16 months ago), as-is where-is etc etc.

ISSUES:

1. Slight hesitation on take-up from R to D when cold.  This is due to a weak 'Accumulator A Spring' in the tranny and an easy fix.  I have the parts, not the time (easy job - approx 4 hours).

2. I changed the coolant a year ago and it's due about now.  There is very slight oil residue, and I mean slight, in the overflow bottle.  Headgasket will need changing at some time, but I reckon there are plenty of KMs in her yet. I recently took the car for a brisk drive to Wagga and back over the Gt Alpine Way and the car performed great.  No hint of any overheating and she pulled hard all the way up the mountain with no performance issues. 

3.  The concertina slider/cover on the base of the shifter broke last week.  RH fog light is cracked. LH rear courtesy light inop. handbrake lever hinge cover cracked.

4.  AC doesn't cool, and hasn't since I've owned the car.  The pump engages when hotwired, so I suspect it just needs gas (no guarantees though). Blower and directional controls all work fine.

Tranny is excellent apart from that mentioned above. Tranny works perfectly and smoothly in the gears in traffic and on the open road.   Pirelli tyres 85-90%. Near perfect paint, bumpers, badging, trim.  No flashing dash lights.  Steppers work, as do windows and seats.  PS is good.  Boot trim perfect.  Headliner excellent with no sags.  Pristine/dry engine bay with no evidence of T-belt tensioner leaks.  T-belt changed in the last 10,000kms  (prior to my ownership). Susp and engine mounts all seem nice and tight.

Oil changed every 5000kms and doesn't use/leak any in between.  A few spare oil filters and a spare fuel filter included.

The car is a daily driver and WAAAAAAAYYY too good to part out.   So grab yourself a bargain at $3200.00
