High Pressure Fuel Pump For Alfa 159 2.2 JTS-Need Assistance

Hi All,

So it looks like my Alfa Romeo 159 2.2 (2006) JTS sedan has gone and decided to have a tantrum and the High Pressure Fuel Pump needs replacing. I am have incredible trouble trying to find this part (DORIA 78530) anywhere in our wonderful country. (new that is). Can anyone lead me in the right direction, or recommend a site to buy it. So far I can only see them in the UK which is around 850pounds so yea that is really my last resort. I love this car and it has not missed a beat until now. If anyone can help save my car out of car hospital that would be great.

If you're after new items may I suggest Italian Automotive Spares in Melbourne (03) 9036 1606 or Arese Spares in Sydney  0411 123 640.

And if you're replacing the HP Fuel Pump I would also suggest replacing the HP Fuel Regulator as well (55182631), because it will not doubt fail soon after you've replaced the pump, sod's law and all.

They said there is a lack of high pressure fuel pumps of this type at the moment, but the shipments are going to be next week.
