Does anyone know if the window switch and surrounds on the 156 GTA are unique? Or do they match those from the early TS and later JTS? I need to buy a couple for my 2003 156 GTA (manu facture Dec 02) but when I put my vehicle in on eBay it says none fit...even though they look identical. Any advice would be appreciated.

I've got a GTA and have to say the surrounds look totally the same as the ones that were on my two prior 156s.

I do have a surround from a non-GTA at home that I bought second hand a few years ago as a back-up source of switches. When I get home tonight I'll have a look and compare it with what's in my GTA. I would be gobsmacked if it is any different.

I can't remember if the 156 GTAs use the window switch assemblies from the 156 Twin Spark (pre-facelift) or the 156 JTS (facelift) but the two ARE different and not compatible.

Even though externally the door switch assembly from a 156 Twin Spark looks the same as one from a 156 JTS the internal switch modules are completely different.

Well there you have it from The Oracle of Dalfa...

I'm still gonna look to compare the two...

Apparently they changed to the modular style after 2002.

Ah right, I won't be any help then. My GTA is an '02. But at least I'm sorted for spares...

All good. Thanks for the help. My switches all work, but wanted to grab a couple spares while they're around - particularly so I can try the "fix" on the rubberised coating that I've seen on the forums before tackling mine. My GTA has a manufacture date of December 02 on it, so I assume it's the late style ones.

Thanks!

so I assume it's the late style ones.

I wouldn't. Take them out and have a look, it's one torx bolt from memory.
I only say this as the GTA continued to use the older, higher centre screen/air duct

(screen gubbins are identical on all models, they just blanked the lower bit on the later model when reducing the height, and changed the GUI a bit)
