GTV6 Custom Exhaust Suggestions - Recommended size and configuration.

Hi Everyone,

GTV6 2.5 Litre - 1983

In the process of replacing my exhaust system due to rust holes just after the flexi pipe section.

What size is recommended? 2.5 inch? 2 inch?

Should I be deleting the centre mufflers and hot dogs and just retaining the rear muffler?

What do people recommend or have done?

Well: If it is a standard engine, no need to depart from the standard too much. 60mm is standard from memory so why would you consider smaller? Here is a good place to start...

Go with straight pipe, to rear box only. CSC headers ideally. I think 2.25inch is the size. It's loudish - but why hide the song of such a glorious engine?!?!
