alfa warranty and electric windows

i have a 2004 GTV.

the warranty handbook has a Retail Delivery Advice at the rear of the book.
it says the warranty starts on the 20/1/06.

i have trouble with the electric windows, i have reported the trouble to the local dealer ( on the darling downs)  before the end of the warranty.

Car has  only done 60,000 kms

He is not sure how to fix the window( it is jammed) , Is there anyone in Brisbane who can help .
Anyway , when i rang Alfa-Care , they say the warranty started on the 31/05/05, so the car is not covered by them.,
But the paper-work i have says it is just covered. It was done by Alfa-Italia in Sydney who dont exist anymore

What options do i have ?  Office of fair trading ?
