2003 147 selespeed message

Hi all im very new to the Alfa world but i recently got myself a 2003 147 2.0 twin spark with selespeed system.

I drove it an hour from where i got it from with no issues apart from the "Selespeed System Failure" message coming on and off. When i got it home there was absolutely no fluid in the reservoir  so i filled that and also had to replace battery as well.

It changes gears fine but the message  and beeping sound is still there.

Any help is much appreciated 🙂
