Hi everyone,

Recent new member residing in Tassie. Had a 74 Alfetta sedan back in the 80's and still regard it as the most enjoyable car to drive that I have owned. Still can't remember why I sold it.

Fast forward to '23 and I now have a '70 1750 Berlina. Plan to keep it as original as possible and drive it regularly. It is currently in dry dock whilst Luke from QVAE is refurbishing a steering box for me. In the process of removing the original box and have noticed a crack adjacent to the box. Won't know the extent of the damage until the old box is out. Is there a "standard repair" for this problem?
