2014 Giulietta TCT transmission not engaging reverse or drive no warning lights only flashing R and D at gear selector and display showing P or N de-pinging on gear selector.
Search of forums cant find matching issues, just shy of 70k any help appreciated

How old is the battery?

The battery is probably less than 6 months old

You'll need to have a diagnostic done on it by someone with Alfa specific diagnostic software, any other advice will be just guessing in the dark.

Got the car to alfa garage and after diagnosis result
Car not selecting gears
Further inspection revealed issue with gear lever not allowing sections as to does
not record to activations with scan tool
we recommend replacing this part and further inspection will be carried our once
part it replaced to check gear and clutch.
Recommended new Gear lever complete at 2.2k new ex italy
