Climate control 156 JTS 2004

Having finally taken delivery of my secondhand 156 JTS Wagon,  (yeah!)
I am stumped on the climate control feature. My operator's manual
only details the earlier 156 climate control. - analogue useless
Any idea where I could get a supplement for it from? or
Can someone tell me the basic setting I should have it on
I get the individual controls fro front and back but
I don't get the two little lights at the bottom of the left hand dial that you can turn one or both on?
Any help woudl be greatly appreciated (given the weather for this week!)

I've had my 156 and some features of the climate control (with references to the correct manual) are still a mystery.

My the left hand button I'm asuming you mean the one with "AUTO" written on it?

Typically I find if you press AUTO both LEDs light up. If you then change a setting manually it results in the LED on the right side of that button going out.
