Tyres for 2000 spider

Hi all. I am new to this forum having just re-purchased the (first) love of my life - after 10 years in other hands, I have bought back my 76 spider which I owned for 12 years before that. Needless to say I am a happy chappy! And looking forward to getting back involved with the club after many happy days during my earlier period of ownership and membership. I would very much welcome some advice on what is the current conventional wisdom on tyres for these cars. Mine has the OEM 5 star alloys which Alfa was putting on the late 80's and early 90's models and is currently wearing 195/65/14's. Intention is for occasional road and possibly a very little track use. Any suggestions re brand/model/price would be most appreciated. Cheers
