Hi everyone,

My name's Mario from Adelaide, Mars for short. I'm actually into motorbikes and ride a Ducati 999s. However, it's time to sell the Duke. I'm looking at trading it in or selling it for a late model Alfa 147 Selespeed. Does anyone here own one?

I constantly get told (obviuosly from people who don't know what they're talking about) that Alfa's are unreliable. Before anyone gets angry, I got told the same thing before I bought my Ducati, but I took it to the right people to get serviced and never had a problem with it.

Are there certain 147 models or years that I should steer clear of? Anything else I should look for when buying one?

Welcome,I cant tell you anything about 147's as I am an Alfetta man myself but I look forward to seeing you at the club,our next meeting is this coming Thursday night at the Sporting Car Club rooms,meeting begins at 8pm.
