Marco,

I came across what looks to be the same wheel at Highwood Alfa.
http://www.highwoodalfa.com/9b39c89d-07c0-4ad5-aac0-26f79a3cac91-9.html

They say they are a reproduction by Compomotive.
Thay look pretty good, I wonder how much shipping would be?

Alan.

I am after a set so if any one wants a bulk purchase !
I have always wanted them and bent second hand ones have been exey because of limited supply, gees they look good on spyders to - might have to get one given they seem to be cheap now(was'nt long ago they were more than coups but now reversed in my opinion)

i can ship for you but a few tips -
a bulk shipment is fine but to save costs of Customs clearance, they need to be bought and shipped by one individual.  That will then mean you will definitley incur 10% Customs GST as the shipment value will be over A$1000.00.  The Customs GST is also calculated on Cost of goods plus Freight plus Duty x 10%, so be aware of that too.

The only way to legitimately "avoid" Customs GST is if a business imports them under their ABN as they can then recoup this GST via their BAS.  It does mean you have to pay out first too however.
Legitimately, means the business can prove if audited that the goods were imported for commercial purposes - which would mean on selling them to which there would normally be a margin added plus local GST.

As indivuidual shipments however, note you will pay a minimum of 1m3 on export port charges, oceanfreight and import locals and handling.  At a guess, you'd be looking at A$1000 per set Door to Door (about $600 on import handling and clearance in Oz alone) plus any Duty / GST and AQIS fees.

I can probably work out "mates rates" if anyone wants to discuss with me directly.
