166 interior lights

have a 99 166,interior lights dont turn off after closing doors,where is the control unit,have checked all door locks and module under dash and module next to fuse box,no one seems to know where control unit is.ciao

The switch isn't just set to on is it as opposed to the switch being on the door setting?

NO,switch is in middle position,wich is correct,not one alfa expert in sydney can help me,lack of knowledge,finally milano wreckers in melbourne found the problem,it comes down to a relay,all the $$$ experts in sydney send me on a wild goose chase,it shows they just like to charge optimum for the easy jobs,so called alfa experts leave much to be desired.ciao
