WANTED: Colour code from 2001 ALFA 147 SELESPEED

hi all....
Im Martin and new to this site.... my cousin is currently in the process of restoring a 60's spider and would looove to paint it in the 2001 ALFA ROMEO 147 SELESPEED TWIN SPARK green colour  (i think its called maple green) as pictured in this link:

we have had no luck from alfa dealers near me as they want me produce a chassis no. (dont know why)  or maybe its just its too much work for them to spend some time on their computers...

can anybody help or guide me in the right direction to obtain the code...

Why not just ring the seller of the 147 and ask him for a chassis number - tell him you want to do a vehicle securities check on it.....
