Hi, my name is David and I just bought an '85 GTV6. Overall not too bad- needs a little work (as we all do).

I probably shouldn't have broken the news to the 'GL' (good lady) that I had bought an Alfa by telling her that I had started a relationship with an Italian beauty...

Although now she has seen it she thinks it's more Maria (Con the Fruiterer's wife) than Sophia Loren; but I love her anyway!

This is second time around for me- had a GTV6 in the late 80's.

So, if I can leave you with a quote from Han Solo (in reference to the Mill Falcon), 'it may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts!' (Which I am lead to believe is a bulge in the bonnet and a trans-axle down the back)

sheldon i think they are refering to the gtv like maria as its heavier than a 90 and its got a huge(heavier)rear end and yes the gl would be jealous of a 90 for her sophia loren looks
