Buying 147 MY2002 vs MY2005

Hi All

just registered to forum as I am looking at getting a used 147 twin spark manual. Probably around 2005 built date.

With the model change in 2005, I was wondering if I could get some advice on whether the MY2005 is a smarter buy than the MY2002. I know the later has 17 inch mags as standard, slighly larger boot space and softer suspension, however are there any other significent differences except for the looks?

Are the MY2005's more reliable? Obviously the newer the better, but if both cars are 2005 year built does it metter?

Aslo I noticed the insurance premiums tend to vary a lot from $1400 for 2004 built  MY2002 to $900 for 2005 built MY 2005. Big $ difference, I wonder why?
