Thanks for clarifying that Stuart, that made sense. I'll be tossing the bottle of valve saver now.

Density of the fuels varies slightly and that can be as simple as a change in temperature. Roughly compared to water as 1, 91 is about .72, 95 is about .73, and 98 seems to come out at about .75,  Different manufacturers will vary on that as well.

At the moment I'm using Caltex Vortex for the performance. It seems to give that little bit more power.

BP Ultimate is good for a smooth, clean fuel but I feel it lacks the power.

I was happy with V-power for a while, but Vortex seems better.

For performance I would try Vortex, for reliability I would use BP Ultimate.
