Without this turning into a free advertising board  ;) , where would be best place for value/quality for service to a JTS manual?

Prefer melbourne northern suburbs.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Yes I know oils type have been mentioned in many other boards but if you could also mention the oil used if known.

This has been a popular query recently and I suggest that you have a look at our sponsors page for suitable location close to you in the Northern Suburbs.

Maranello Pur sang would be a suggestion. You will find they are price competitive as well as spicialist in the marque.   Some of these give a discount to club members too.

Cheers.

Cool thanks. So anyone who is not a sponsor is not in touch with victorian alfas community?

John Hanslow

The sponsors are will known to the Alfa community due to various levels of club participation going back some 40 years.  They are experts in the field for new and older syle classic cars.  There has been a very good relationship with these people over the years and of course the benefits go both ways.

Most may be current sponsors/advertisers, a few may not.

Cheers.

Although they are not Northern Suburbs, I can recommend Mauceri Motors in Clayton (on the sponsors list).

I bought my '03 156 JTS just over a month ago and, being a first time Alfa buyer, I came here seeking a recommendation for a non-dealer Alfa specialist to do an inspection and any work required.  A member recommended Mauceri so I gave them a call.

Sebastian and Corrado Mauceri have owned and raced Alfas for years, so they know their business.

I was very happy with the service, the workmanship and the price and will be making them my regulars for future scheduled servicing.

Hi All,

I'm in the process of buying a 2005 156... any recommendations of good service centres in Brisbane??

Thanks

John Hanslow

There is one that I know of & used with my interstate purchase.

Alfamotive were most helpful in a prepurchase inspection - which I am sure you will organise anyway to assist in negotiating price of the car.

They are most knowledgable and are specialists in the marque and well regarded.

Let us know how you go.

I actually didn't use Alfamotive... Opted for a RACQ mastercheck and got the all clear!  Will be the owner of my first Alfa next week :)
