Defect Details:  Units may discharge their contents faster than required by AS/NZS 1841.5.

Consumer action: Please call Chubb customer service staff during office hours (8.30am to 5pm) on 1300 138 244, who will supply a retro-fit pack free of cost.

CAMS is issuing this notice asking all competitors to inspect their fire extinguishers as the affected products may be in use by CAMS members. As these fire extinguishers no longer comply with AS/NZS 1841.5, they are no longer considered to be safe for use in motor sport competition.
