I am looking for any advice from anyone who has purchased an ECU upgrade from Powerchip.

This what they offer, for $1,499:

In standard form, the Alfa Romeo Brera 2.2 JTS produces 136 kW, however the addition of a PowerchipGold 98 will increase the power to 145 kW. In addition to the extra power, the torque is also increased. The Brera 2.2 JTS produces 230 Nm standard, and this is increased to 246 Nm.                                         javascript:void(0);

a friend of mine got one in his 164 it was unreal then he sold it and got a 166 chip it that went like crazy has sold that now he has a 3.2 gtv and chiped that now its absolutly mental for the noticable difference id do it
