should they be recalled and burnt to save all of us from the pain
why does alfa not recall and fix this prob as it is a factory issue

I agree Selespeed in Drive is very poor, but I turn off VDC and use Manual, and it reduces some of that sluggishness in gear change           javascript:void(0);

This could be an interesting point of discussion at the 156 -932 Series Workshop coming up in a couple of weeks. Our sponsor could give an indication of how many he has repaired or replaced, and is there a comon fault or do they fail for a variety of issues.

It would be of interest to know how many club members have had issues, or is it a case of we only here about the bad ones.

Don't have any first hand experience with sillyspeeds but for the record have no desire to either.  Am more than happy with my manual 156 JTS sportwagon.    I have only owned one auto car (Fiat 130 sedan) and am in no hurry to ever own another auto or semi auto.  As to Flappy Paddles, you have got to be kidding !!!

yes we should i love my alfa 147 but i fking ht8 the stuipd selespeed  alfa sld jut burn all of them

Unfortunately the selespeed cars may have a cheaper market price and the uninitiated may get caught out.  That created bad consumer sentiment as these are a lot of cheaper selespeed around for 'urgent sale'.

Made a few inquiries to buy a 156 Ti selespeed but was recommended not to as with even the best regular servicing, Alfa software enhancements, resetting and part replacement, the car can just stop due to an electrical problem.

These goes my upgrade into spirited motoring.  Have to get a manual; instead; or back to a 156 V6 Qmatic.
