"Start the New Year Amongst Friends on the banks of the Yarra, bring the whole family along. This is a graet oppertunity to mix and socialise. BYO food, drink, and picnic blanket or chairs, stretch out on the grassy slopes of the yarra and soak up the warm breeze and the bright city lights, and the spectacle of Melbournes bats at sunset. Public BBQ facilities are available.  Meet just to the West of the Morell Bridge, Melway Map 2G Ref D11. Parking is avilable along Alexander Ave and Anderson St."
