147 update fog lamps

Hi guys,

does anybody know how to get the fog lamp assembly out?
I tried to change the globe and the pin that holds the globe fell onto the ground...not enough room there to put my hand properly behind with my head in the way.

if anyone has had this experience please let me know how to fic other wise I will have to go to lanci for a globe

Never done one yet but as I understand it's a bumper off job. Have you tried wheel off, remove  front half inner guard cover and reaching down? I did this on the horn side to do something but of course wasn't looking to reach the foglight so don't know.

Could be an easier first step before removing the bumper. However the owner manual says bring it to the dealer (that also suggests a bumper off job and $$$).

Ok So I finally changed the bloody globe...

1. take off wheel
2. unscrew wheel cover
3. shove a torch in there
4. put new globe in and watch not to lose the spring that holds the globe in.
5. put plug back in....watch it its a funny one...white is +  i think.
6. Stop cursing and swearing..you love this car
7. wheel cover
8. wheel.
make sure you tighten the nuts.
