Am trying to get info on Alfasud based sigle seat open wheel racing car
There may be a South African connection where I think these cars were built and raced
Similar to a formula "V" but using Alfasud Engine and transaxle mounted behind the driver
Any help appreciated

I'm from Souf Efrika and was involved with motorsport back home and I've never heard of a Sud engined open wheel race series.
There was a Sud race series but that all I've heard or ever read about in SA.

I know there was a series called Formula Boxer.  There's some info on the internet search for Alfa "Formula Boxer".  They ran the 16v 33 engine with 150hp, rear mounted in a Dallara (?) chassis.

I do occasionally look at these and think it would be a hoot to bring one in for historic racing and hillclimbs...
