What firewall is better to install?

My firewall that comes with my windows xp slows down my computer. What will be a better one firewall I can download and use for free?

Some people say Dellorto firewalls are better, but I reckon there's nothing like the induction noise of dual Weber firewalls.

I've seen a couple of Alfasuds with holes in their firewalls.  Natural lightening process some would say...  like the holes in the rear window frame on mine.  Never had problems with hacking in the Sud though - not since I gave up golf.
