81 Giulietta coil / distributor

Hi, I'm calling on the brains trust to help me out. Tried to do a bit of diy work on the car and have ended in huge trouble. The story goes, we have 2 Giulietta's one road going with points, the other a project/track car to be, with electronic distrbutor, the task being to swap them over as we have been having points trouble and thought this would resolve them. Did all the easy stuff swaped the parts over but when we connected the wires up it was all smoke and panic as we melted one wire back to the fuse box (green black wire) and now dont know which wire goes where. (Hanyes manual is as usefull as an ashtray on a motorcycle) Wires to distributor are ok low tension to neg where do the white , green and black green go. Thought we had it all worked out and panic cause total lost of memory. Next time will use the blunt pencil to beat the sharp (?) mind. Thank you.
