Imported a Spider

Hi all - I'm new to the forum but thought I'd join up as I've imported a Series 3 (1986) Spider from the UK into Brisbane. Just started the rego process so am a bit green but believe the first step is LO1 compliance (is that correct/unavoidable?). Does anyone know where I can obtain this in Brisbane (without too much hassle!). Any other tips would be appreciated.
