i undo my oil filter from under the car, well crack it anyway so its loose enough to do by hand using a standard filter spanner once loose i then undo from top by hand leaving all thing connected the only thing to remember if the car is still hot you may burn ur arms a little thats why i wear long sleve tops when doing, its the easiest way
