how to remove a gtv engine

hi all ive got a 77 116 gtv and im about to pull the engine for a rebuild ive got all the corect gear for it and have pulled engines before but never out of a gtv now my question to you all is can i pull the engine without the bellhousing or do i have to unbolt the drive shaft and take out the bellhousing and engine complete thanks for your help
