The electric windows on my spider are quite noisy. Both drivers side and passenger side. Both going up and going down.

I assume this is normal as they are both noisy, not just one.

Just wondering if there is anything I can do? Grease the motors maybe?

A few options....

Rev the engine at the same time so you can't hear it

Turn up the sounds?  I would recommend "Fade to Black" or "Unforgiven" by Metallica, or "I wanna live" by the Ramones.

Decide which spot you prefer your windows to be in;  Up, or Down.  And then leave them there

Drive to Frankston, leave it parked with the windows down and key in the ignition.  2 minutes later call insurance company, inform them that you'll be getting a German car next time.

But seriously, it's a Spider, how often are you putting the windows up and down?  Top is down, windows are down; top is up, windows are up, and aircon on.  Am I missing something?

Hi Haxby,
I have a 2003 spider ,
Use dry lube .
If the electric motors are noisy,
It could be that the drop windows could be picking up or jamming and straining the motor.
If this is so , remove the door trim and disconnect the drop window and move it up and down and adjust till its freed up.
