Well I seem to have come to this thread a bit late but here's my penny's worth.

Yes the day was a bit hot and certainly a bit more shade would have been nice but overall it was a good day and it was great to see so many Alfa's (including those "very average 116 GTV6's" of which one was mine!) out there on the paddock.

I struggle to think of a better venue but I'm sure that the organisers would be receptive to any suggestions. With respect to timing it is always a juggle to avoid other events (eg Whitman park and Northam) and the winter weather. Certainly last year was cooler from memory.

Congratulations to all, both the event organisers and Ed et al, for making it happen.
