K&N AIR FILTER

Hi, Just wondering whether it is worth buying a K&N air filter for my alfa 156 v6?
are they worth it and how much should i pay?

I presume you are referring to a drop-in replacement cone/panel filter (not their 57i pod filter). I have not used K&N, but I have used AutoDelta and another brand.

You will not have much change - you may not notice it at all. Certainly do not expect significant increases in power/torque; maybe a slight increase in induction roar (a good thing).

Honestly, the main benefit is that they are cleanable and reusable, so you don't have to buy a new paper filter even again. Though you do have to have a re-oil kit for K&N.

Possibly, if you also modify the engine/exhaust, it can contribute to improved performance. But alone, it won't make any obvious difference.
