Not very exciting I know, but its my first Alfa and I LOVE it, so thought I would share with people who understand (my family all own commodore sedans, including my husband, so they like it but dont get my excitement at all )  :D
these were taken in the showroom just before I picked it up from wollongong on wednesday.

Ha ha, nice one.  Yeah it's weird how some people think of cars as just transport isn't it?  Why be boring?  Congratulations on the purchase.

x2 for that.

I caught the Italian car virus as a child when I was 8 living when we were living in Switzerland.  As a 16 year old, a girlfriend's mum had a '69 Fiat 124 sport, and I was in heaven. There was no help for me after that.  Have only had Italian cars ever since, even though at times this has resulted in me being given heaps from my mates, etc.

Luckily for me, though our whole family were into Euro cars and so hence cars have always been more then mere transport for us.  Now it is a kind of nice obsession. ;D

Anyway Littlechickenwing, you are in good company here, and BTW your 156 looks really sweet.  I remember buying mine from a dealer in Sydney, and being really happy to take possession of it, before heading off on the roadtrip home to Tassie via the Pacific Hwy.  Great fun.  Dave
