I have been the very happy owner of a 159ti 2.4JTD Qtronic for the past year. I have finally got my act together and joined AROCA and this forum.  It's good to be on here.  This is my second Alfa.  I owned my first Alfa, a 'Sud 1200 ti many, many years ago.  I think it was THE Alfa that gave Alfa a bad reputation for reliability.  It was still a fantastic little car to drive when it was running.

In contrast, the 159 has been a delight from the day I got it.  It has just had its first service today and it is pulling like a train.

I am sure you will find plenty of front wheel drivers here to exchange ideas with and share common delights and frustrations.

Don't  let my signature say more than that I have a clear favorite when it comes to Alfas because I respect all Alfa owners. There is always a reason why people chose what they do.

Likewise welcome Charles.  I hope you enjoy your 159 for many years to come.  I managed to score a test drive of one last year and was most impressed with the quality of ride and finish. 

I agree with MD's comments regarding the rationale for choices and similarly the respect for this.  Each has so much to offer.  I totally enjoy my 156 sportwagon, but similarly also enjoy my classics.  Dave
