Very lucky with cam belt

I've always changed the cam belt on my Q every 3 years, the last time was Oct 07. The other morning my wife rang me with the news that following a loud suealing noise from the front right side of the car, it just stopped. My heart sank and we organised a tow to Maranello Pursang. After an anxious 24 hours, Giancarlo rang me with - you need to buy a Tatts ticket. The fan belt had given way, then the cambelt had slipped off with a couple of teeth gone. The engine was undamaged!!! New cam belt and other belts later and she is purring again. Hoping to make it to Marysville.
